INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The Efficiency Project collects both personal and non-personal information in the course of its business activities. “Personal Information” is any factual or subjective information about an identifiable individual. The Efficiency Project also collects Personal Information from the device you use to access our website. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • The Efficiency Project keeps the Personal Information it collects to its customers for the purpose of allowing those customers to offer their services to individuals who meet certain criteria. We may disclose Personal Information to our vendors, service providers, and marketing partners in order to conduct our legitimate business activities. The Efficiency Project may also need to disclose your Personal Information as required by law or to protect its legal rights.

  • The Efficiency Project shares your Personal Information with its vendors and service providers (Sub-Processors) in order to conduct its legitimate business activities. These activities may include, but are not limited to, the provision of marketing-related services, website hosting, data analysis, the provision of information technology services and related infrastructure, customer service, email delivery, auditing, and other services we provide to our customers. Currently, The Efficiency Project’s Sub-Processors include Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, and High Level. The Efficiency Project will bind its Sub-Processors to contractual terms which are as protective of the Personal Information you provide us as those in this Privacy Policy, but The Efficiency Project is not responsible for any data which you provide to a Sub-Processor directly and we encourage you to review any terms or privacy policy information on any third-party website you visit or which is linked to from our Website.

  • After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

  • The Efficiency Project may disclose or transfer your Personal Information pursuant to a re-organization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, or other transfer or disposition of all or any portion of our business.

  • It may become necessary for The Efficiency Project to share your Personal Information for legal reasons. The legal grounds under which The Efficiency Project processes Personal Information include: Your consent, which is given when you use our Website or our business services. OPT-OUT RIGHTS

  • Though The Efficiency Project gathers and retains Personal Information as described above, you may opt out of receiving marketing emails from us by either following the opt-out instructions in those emails or by sending an opt-out request via email to support@Efficiencyproject.net

  • The Efficiency Project will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt out of receiving marketing-related communications from us, we may still send messages to you pursuant to an existing business relationship which we may have with you.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

  • Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems, as well as our mobile applications, include a do-not-track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference and not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

INDIVIDUALS LOCATED IN THE EEA

  • If you are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), and you are sending us your Personal Information, you acknowledge and understand that it will be stored in the United States. Subject to limitations under local law, you may have additional rights with regard to your Personal Information including, but not limited to, (i) the right to access/change delete it, (ii) the right to request a restriction on the way it is processed, (iii) the right to object to it being processed. CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT

  • Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California residents have additional privacy rights available to them. These include the right to be notified at or before the point at which Personal Information is collected, the right to opt out of the sale of Personal Information, the right to request deletion of Personal Information, the right to receive copies of, or information about, the Personal Information we collect, the right to be free from discriminatory treatment for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by the CCPA, and the right to receive information about financial incentives we may offer you, if any. California residents also have the right to designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on the resident’s behalf.
